"ΔΕΙΤΕ ΤΗΝ ΣΥΝΕΝΤΕΥΞΗ ΤΟΥ CHAD SMITH ΓΙΑ ΤΟ ΝΕΟ ΔΙΣΚΟ"
Speaking of the still untitled record he said, "It has no name, but it's going good. We've got lots of songs and we're just choosing the ones for the album. Everybody's happy, healthy and excited to get back out there and play."
The drummer also talked about the band's new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who replaced John Frusciante after the band's last album, "It's a good chemistry. The cool thing is we knew him for about 10 years before he joined. We've had the luxury of writing songs for a year and he has brought a lot to the table. It sounds new and fresh - but it still sounds like The Chili Peppers."
The Chili's are already confirmed to play Japan's Summersonic Festival in August and Brazil's Rock In Rio in September, there are rumours however of a South American tour and a UK show for later in the year, nothing has yet been confirmed by the band.
Chad also confirmed that the drum parts for the forthcoming Chickenfoot album are complete. He recently revealed he would not be touring the new record with the band as he'll be touring and concentrating on the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
