Η ΚΟΡΗ ΤΟΥ CHAD SMITH EΧΕΙ ΦΩΝΑΡΑ!
Μπορεί να τραγούδησε Stevie Wonder και όχι Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Η κόρη του Chad Smith διαγωνίστηκε στο American Idol και πέρασε πολύ έυκολα στην επόμενη φάση.
Ενδιαφέρουσα φωνή και ίσως απασχολήσει και τους RHCP μελλοντικά.

ΔΙΚΟ ΤΟΥΣ ΡΑΔΙΟΦΩΝΟ ΑΝΟΙΓΟΥΝ ΟΙ RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS
Οι Red Hot Chili Peppers θα αποκτήσουν το δικό τους ραδιοφωνικό κανάλι Sirius XM, με τίτλο "hole Lotta Red Ηot" (κανάλι 315), που θα ξεκινήσει αυτήν την Παρασκευή, 1 Απριλίου, στις 12 π.μ.
Το ντεμπούτο του σταθμού συμπίπτει με την κυκλοφορία του νέου άλμπουμ των Red Hot Chili Peppers, Unlimited Love, και το Whole Lotta Red Hot θα γιορτάσει την άφιξη του LP με αποκλειστικό σχολιασμό κομμάτι - κομμάτι από το συγκρότημα. Όπως και άλλα κανάλια Sirius XM με επίκεντρο τον καλλιτέχνη, το Whole Lotta Red Hot θα περιλαμβάνει επίσης μουσική από όλη την καριέρα του RHCP, συμπεριλαμβανομένων ακυκλοφόρητων στιγμών σε στούντιο από ζωντανές ηχογραφήσεις, καθώς και τραγούδια που έχουν επιλεγεί από τα μέλη του συγκροτήματος.

Ο μόνος μας στόχος είναι να χαθούμε μέσα στη μουσική. Ξοδέψαμε χιλιάδες ώρες, ομαδικά και ατομικά, βελτιώνοντας την τεχνική μας, για να φτιάξουμε το καλύτερο άλμπουμ που μπορούσαμε. Οι «κεραίες» μας ήταν συντονισμένες με το θεϊκό σύμπαν, ήμασταν τόσο ευγνώμονες για την ευκαιρία να βρεθούμε σε ένα δωμάτιο μαζί και, για άλλη μια φορά, να προσπαθήσουμε να γίνουμε καλύτεροι. Αφιερώσαμε μέρες, εβδομάδες και μήνες ακούγοντας ο ένας τον άλλον, συνθέτοντας, τζαμάροντας ελεύθερα. Συλλέξαμε τους καρπούς αυτών των τζαμαρισμάτων με μεγάλη προσοχή και σκοπό. Οι ήχοι, ο ρυθμός, τα vibes, οι λέξεις και οι μελωδίες μας έκαναν να μαγέψουμε.

«Όταν μαζευτήκαμε για να αρχίσουμε να γράφουμε υλικό, ξεκινήσαμε παίζοντας παλιά τραγούδια από καλλιτέχνες όπως ο Johnny "Guitar" Watson, οι Kinks, οι New York Dolls, ο Richard Barrett και άλλοι. Σταδιακά, αρχίσαμε να φέρνουμε νέες ιδέες και να μετατρέπουμε τα τζαμαρίσματα σε τραγούδια. Μετά από μερικούς μήνες η νέα μουσική που δημιουργούσαμε ήταν το μόνο που παίζαμε. Το αίσθημα της αβίαστης διασκέδασης που είχαμε όταν παίζαμε τραγούδια άλλων καλλιτεχνών, έμεινε μαζί μας καθόλη την διάρκεια του album. Για μένα, αυτός ο δίσκος αντιπροσωπεύει την αγάπη και την πίστη που έχει ο ένας για τον άλλο».
